I received my massage diploma on May 27, 2006 from Healthy Connections School of Massage. (600 hours course) I am nationally certified, licensed and a member of the AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association).

I have a great compassion to help people with healing from the inside out, helping them understand how they can benefit from massage to improve their quality of life. I assess individual needs of my clients and track their progress with each visit. I use deep tissue and Swedish together, trigger point release, vibration and direct manipulation. If you have an injury and can’t seem to receive relief of neck, back, shoulder or knee discomfort massage therapy may be what you need. You can also receive a nice quiet relaxation massage to relieve stress.

I graduated from Healthy Connections School of Massage Therapy in May 2008 and have been practicing massage since July 2008. I have a National certification and am a member of the AMTA. After attending Illinois State University, Dr.Beach earned her Bachelors Degree of Science and Doctorate Degree in Chiropractic from National College of Chiropractic in 1985. She became sports certified in 1997 and is involved with ISU as one of their team physicians. Memberships include Illinois Chiropractic Society, American Chiropractic Association and the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. She is a current board member for Illinois Chiropractic Foundation.

Wellness services include manual and low force manipulation, therapy, x-ray services and home care suggestions to help maintain your health. Alternative and complementary services include wellness and nutritional consultations and comprehensive non-invasive computerized Meridian Stress Assessment testing for evaluation of energetic health and balance.

Kathryn is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki Master, and Registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist®.. She also graduated form the University of Illinois (psychology), Emory University (education), and the University of Georgia (social work). She has studied with Peruvian curanderismo, Oscar Miro-Quesada.

Kathryn offers integrative bodywork, including massage and energy modalities to address emotional and behavioral patterns that perpetuate suffering. Her work benefits those dealing with life transitions, stress, recovery from illness, and spiritual crisis. Creating a collaborative approach to healing and a safe space for deep exploration is essential to move beyond problem-solving into paradigm shifts.

Bruce Boeck, MS, LCPC, has over 30 years of experience working with people. He attended both Illinois Wesleyan and Illinois State Universities and was one of the first teachers at Heartland Community College. He has worked either directly or indirectly with nearly every social service agency in McLean County.

Dr. Griffith is in private practice using therapeutic tools such as Energy Healing, Jungian Sandplay Therapy and Dream Analysis. The Energy Healing methods she uses are Shakti, Color, Reiki, and Healing Touch. When energies in the form of living symbols are touched upon in the personal and collective unconscious, transformation can happen spontaneously.

She is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner, Certified Sandplay Therapy-Teacher and Supervisor and a member of Spiritual Directors International.

Jiong Gu, licensed acupuncturist, works at Applied Pain Institute, LLC. He holds NCCAOM diplomas in both acupuncture and Chinese herbology. He graduated from Shanghai Traditional Medicine University as an honor student. He practiced in Shanghai for 15 years before moving to Bloomington, Illinois and has worked in Bloomington-Normal for 18 years.

In addition to his office practice, he teaches T’ai Chi through several community courses and provides guest lectures on Eastern medicine to a variety of audiences.

Dr. Robert Hermann is a doctor of chiropractic board certified in orthopedics. He has been accredited in acupuncture since 1983, successfully using it for pain management. He has 20 years experience in the chiropractic field.

Dr. Hermann has practiced yang style t’ai chi for 20 years. In 1992, he brought t’ai chi to the area through a course that he currently teaches for Wesleyan Wellness Department. He has attained a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. His experience with traditional and alternative health practitioners has promoted cooperation and the open exchange of information vital to his patient’s potential wellness.

Chris is a Registered Nurse, Certified in Holistic Nursing, Gerontology and Parish Nursing. She is a Healing Touch Practitioner Apprentice, working toward Program completion and Certification.

The goal of Healing Touch is to clear, balance, support and energize the energy system. Chris assists individuals to find balance, stress relief and self healing. Particular areas of support are pain reduction and management, acute and chronic illness, post-operative recovery, cancer treatment and care and the stress and strain of everyday living.

She is also an Independent Distributor for the nutritional products of Reliv® International.

Margaret Kelly has been a Level II Reiki Practitioner since 1992. Her interest and work in the healing arts and the integration of mind, body and spirit have evolved over the last 35 years. She is a graduate of the Haden Institute, a Christian, contemplative, Jungian-oriented program in spiritual direction. She holds a Ph.D. in music education and is currently on the Pastoral Care Staff at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center. She is a member of Spiritual Directors International.
Margaret is in private practice in both spiritual direction and Reiki. She also offers Animal Reiki to the four-leggeds—working in particular with dogs, cats and horses.

Gwenn’s therapeutic touch releases the stresses of life, which cause chronic pain, discomfort and dis-ease in your body. Her synergistic approach uses numerous therapies to relax and restore the whole person while providing a safe space. She accomplishes this through integrative massage, bodywork, energy medicine and assists in lifestyle changes for your wellness care.

Gwenn has over 2800 education hours in therapeutic massage, bodywork and energy medicine. A Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT); Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB); Registered member of the American Polarity Therapy Association (RPP); and a member of Healing Touch Professional Association; Gwenn continues to develop her skills through annual continuing education to benefit her clients.

Dr. Mather has been a pastoral counselor and psychotherapist for over twenty years. He has a deep interest in helping people integrate their mind, body, and spirit. Therapy is provided to adults, older adolescents, and couples. One approach used is biofeedback, computer aided instrumentation to help individuals gain control over their autonomic nervous system. Biofeedback has been very helpful for migraines, stress reduction, pain control and anxiety issues. Other areas of interest are trauma, mood disorders, habit change, and Past Life Regression Therapy.

Merlin has a Dr. of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling and Psychotherapy from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary Evanston, IL; Certificates in Hypnosis, EMDR, and Thought Field Therapy. He holds the Fellow Level in the American Association of Pastoral Counseling.

Lee Ann Rasmus is an R.N., a Reiki Master, Certified Biofeedback Specialist and Certified Stress Management Trainer. She also has training in Healing Touch, Donna Eden Energy Medicine, Energy Psychology, and Sacred Path Healing. With 30 years of experience, she brings a unique blend of compassion, coaching, and healing skills that assist the client in reaching the root cause of their stress, illness, or “dis-ease”. She then works with the client to eliminate blocks and retrain the body and mind to hold a vibration of radiant health, balance, and vitality.

Lee Ann offers sessions that focus on the body’s energy systems. Sessions also include coaching and teaching simple techniques that the client can use daily to maintain energy balance in their life.

Karen Ridinger is a certified Usui Reiki Master under the guidance of Reiki Master Richard Casey. She received her first and second level attunements at St. John’s Hospital, Center for Mind/Body Medicine. In addition to private Reiki sessions, she also hosts regular Reiki circles and classes. These take place at Natural Pathways Health and Wellness Center, which she co-owns and where she serves as Educational Director.

Reiki is a hands on healing technique that activates the body’s innate healing capabilities. Many clients notice profound changes on the levels of mind, body, spirit, and emotion.

Michelle is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Since obtaining her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Michelle has worked for over 15 years specializing in self-esteem, depression, childhood trauma, attachment disorders, addictions, and PTSD. She is also a certified Level II LifeForce Yoga® Therapist.

Michelle hopes to help you experience personal growth, a feeling of peace, and a release from pain. Beverly has been a Licensed Practical Nurse for 40 years, which compliments her Reiki practice of 13 years. She is also a co-owner of Natural Pathways for alternative health and awareness where she is the business manager. Beverly also helps coordinate a variety of services at the center: Reiki, Yoga, meditation, aromatherapy, raw foods, intuitive medium, and creative art therapy. Natural Pathways hosts a Holistic Fair each spring.

Naomi is a Licensed and Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work with in-depth training in Gestalt Psychotherapy and certification in second degree Reiki. Reiki is an ancient Japanese method of healing touch. Gestalt is dynamic and present-focused, exploring the past mainly in terms of the obstacles it creates to being fully alive and present. Because Gestalt recognizes an essential mind/body relationship, the combination of Gestalt and Reiki are highly compatible and particularly powerful in therapy.
